Our Process


The first step to getting started with your custom designed wedding suite, is to inquire! You will first fill out a brief form online and provide a little bit of information about yourself and your wedding. We will then be able to answer any questions that you have, go into a little more depth about the custom design process and timeline, and provide a cost estimate for your project. Boone and June brides can expect to spend anywhere between $2,500-$5,500 on a custom designed wedding suite of 100 invitations.


If you are ready to move forward with the design process after you initial inquiry, you will then be asked to fill out a much more detailed questionnaire that will help us better understand your needs, and vision for your wedding. After we receive this detailed questionnaire, we will schedule a quick phone consultation to better get acquainted with you and to go over any questions or details specific to your project. This information will allow us to provide you with a detailed scope of services, an exact price quote, and a timeline for your project. We will then send you a Design Proposal Packet with all of these details, and a contract for you to sign. Along with a signed contract, a 50% retainer is required to move forward with your project.


Once the signed contract and the retainer have been received, we will begin to pull together inspiration for your project. This may include photos from your venue, the colors of your bridesmaids dresses, types of flowers you plan to use, and details from your own lives that you may wish to include. A private Pinterest board will be created that you can pin inspiration photos to as well. This process is important as it insures that our vision matches your own. From here, detailed sketches and layouts are made, fonts and colors are selected, and a design board is sent to you that you can provide your own feedback, or sign off on. The next step is digital proofing. Based on your feedback on the design concept sketches, a final design is created and sent to you. This design will include all final artwork, layouts, font selections and paper selections. One round of revisions is included with your invitation suite, and any additional revisions beyond the first round will be billed separately at a rate of $50 per revision. Once your proofs have been approved, the final payment will be due prior to production.


Once the digital proofs are approved, the files will be submitted to the printer, and we will take it from there! Production time will vary depending on the printing method that you choose, the number of pieces in your suite, and whether or not will we be providing guest-addressing services. (We also offer invitation suite assembly services, which we would be happy to send an estimate for if this is something that would make your life easier. Otherwise, it’s a great pre-marital bonding opportunity for you and your fiancé!) Your suite will then be packaged with care and shipped to you with tracking and insurance.
